At walgreens the other day I went on a small culture jam escapade. Inspiration for this project was due in part from:
-Well advertised, but poorly constructed products
-My honest opinion of products which I have purchased in the past
-The desire to undermine/invade private public spaces
-A homework assignment
Taking the rating and comment system known all throughout the web I transferred it into physical space. The rating stars are from Youtube.

You should have more fun with this and make one that says something like “this has been photoshopped, I can tell by the pixels”, or something stupid like that.
Or you should just not listen to me and keep doing what you’re doing. It’s funny anyway.
I wished Houston had those kind of reviews….
awesome. snicker.
What a great idea – would love to see more of these!
pretty cool idea
This is dumb. You\’re dumb. At least do this to somewhere everyone hates, like Wal-Mart.
Annoying. You are a finnicky little snot.
Great idea!
I might consider doing that
Were they removed?
I went in a couple days after and two of them and 1 of 5 was still up. I’m surprised one lasted as the store gets a lot of traffic.

Contrary to the naysayers who apparently did not read the the initial part of the post, this is very creative. I hope you got a good grade on the project.
Incidentally, rubbing alcohol is always cheap; although, you may want to put the price in the photo somewhere. Good job. I hope you had fun with this.
Thanks for the wide range of feedback ! I still have mixed feelings about the whole project, but it was definitely worthwhile.
Quite hilarious. And no matter what the others might say, it’s a very creative idea. I hope other random people got to see it and smile before it got taken down.
Thanks alex
