This weekend contained an abundance of education. Everything from beautiful advertisements to short fruitful conversations with distant relatives. I finished the book Siddhartha. This book as opened and reopened many mental doors for me. Contemplations on life’s cycles, the power of patience, the importance of acceptance, the potential of linear seeking, and the possibilities of the artistic process. Its given me quite a bit of confidence and hopefully it has humbled me a bit. Tonight will result in a long overdue painting and the beginning of an artwork I’m doing for an art trade with a fellow student.
