Between Boalsburg and Pine Grove Mills there is a place called Shingletown. A small road that is easy to miss leads up to one of my favorite spots in Rothrock State Forest. Old Mountain Road leads you to paths of many types. Some of these trails lead you to the tops of mountains, others meander along the forest floor following peaceful streams.
