A friend and I drove around Millheim last week, but further than the last plein air painting session out there. Cruising along we discussed everything from Shock Doctrine, to trends in the gaming industry, and then around a bend appeared a surreal landscape of endless ridges fading into the sky. I felt helpless to try and capture this extreme depth, but it didn’t stop us from trying. I finished and then did a quick sketch of my friend below.
